Only a few years ago
kitchen stool unthinkable. They were reserved
for bar stools in the pub around the corner and, in private households, if
they existed at all, had a sad and hidden existence in dark basement bars
that were only used on special occasions. With the transformation of the
kitchen from the place of pure food preparation to the regular meeting place
of the family, this has changed fundamentally. Many modern kitchens have a
counter where you can sit down for a leisurely conversation, a cool drink or
a quick bite to eat. Due to the elevated position normal chairs are not
usable here, which is why the bar stool began his triumphal procession as a
kitchen stool. Kitchen stools are now available in almost endless variations,

interior.
