installed.  It would be better if you
either fix the light in the place that lights up the whole room.  Or you can be creative and choose lamps in
different sizes to put in the room. 
Like placing the big candle in the area where your work table is and
placing the small one on top of your bed. 
This would light up your room accordingly but will not kill the look
of it.
