Perfect bed mattress

To ensure that your child sleeps
well at night, a cot mattress is a must-have product for you.  In general, a newborn baby would sleep
about 16 to 18 hours a day and therefore it is important to ensure that he
gets a comfortable sleep and that the crib mattress is a safe and cozy
solution.

Finding the best type of bed mattress
for a good night’s sleep for you and your children can be a daunting task.  There are different types of crib mattress
to choose from as there are many such types available in the market.  The available mattress pads for cribs
are:

This type of crib mattress includes PVC
coating on top of the foam interior.
They are expensive but still at a good price.  These are easy to clean and maintain and
are also light in weight.  However,
they can be uncomfortable for infants during the hot seasons due to the PVC
coating.

This type of crib mattress is made of a
coil spring under the mattress’ non-PVC surface.  This type of mattress offers excellent
support and is also durable and lasts a long time.  This is perfect for accommodating more than
one child.  Their disadvantage is that
they weigh more compared to the foam mattresses which makes it difficult to
change them from one place to another.
These types are also more expensive than foam
mattresses.

Other types of cot mattresses that
are available are fiber bed mattresses which are the most expensive types
while being the most durable at the same time and the allergy-friendly cot
mattress which contains a non-allergenic inner foam which is combined with a
surface that is water resistant and also allergy
friendly.

Before buying the bed mattress, it is
important to mount the bed properly first and then measure the length and
width of the bed base on its interior.

There are
two basic sizes of bed mattresses, such as the continental size which
measures 60x120cm and the regular bed mattress which measures
56x118cm.

The mattress must be firm without it
hanging down and must fit in the cot without any
doors.

Be sure to buy a mattress that meets all
safety regulations and you only need to buy a used mattress if you know its
history.  Otherwise, it is best to buy
a new one.
