Side tables – versatile and usable everywhere

Side tables
are extremely functional and versatile. If more space is needed, they can be
quickly moved or pushed aside. Some side tables have built-in handles, such
as the DLM by Hay, or even castors on the feet. Depending on the model, the
tabletop is round, square or has its own organic shape. The tabletops also
have a small edge at the edge of the table for some side tables. So they are
a little reminiscent of trays. In the original form, the side table had only
one foot, today you can choose between one to four feet or opt for a model
with skid frame. Some side tables,  even have no apparent feet. Also
with the material the designers become more and more inventive. The main
material in the beginning of the side table was wood. This still dominates
today, but steel, plastic and glass are also becoming increasingly popular. A
side table can be used as a bedside table next to the bed or for storing
glasses next to the couch. In the entrance area, they are often used as a
presentation area for flowers or larger vases. And they are also frequently
used in the garden next to the sun lounger.
